What's the best choice for Olivia to select in WAPs?

Types of WAPs:

There are mostly two types of WAPs available for Olivia to choose from in managing wireless security in her company:

  • Fat WAP: Fat WAPs can be defined as an access point that cannot be configured by switches. If Olivia uses multiple Fat APs, each Fat AP has to be configured individually, allowing for different SSID or passwords in different parts of the company.
  • Thin WAP: Thin WAPs can be defined as an access point which can be configured according to the switch. This means Thin AP gives the same configuration when using multiple numbers.

Therefore, in Olivia's scenario, the most appropriate choice would be FAT WAPs as they can be configured with different WiFi setups in different parts of the company.
